The film's actions develop 21 years later in 1957 - the height of the "Cold War". A group of Soviet soldiers led by agent Irina Spalko sent to a secret storage base. The Soviet military set off for the Nevada desert to Zone 51. Spalko kidnaps Dr. Jones's a longtime lover named Marion Ravenwood.
