Ron Korvik born and raised in Long Island. Parents brought it to the old traditions and the boy instilled the love of their country and its citizens. Very young, he is recorded as a volunteer in the ranks of the US Army. Most of all he wanted to protect the interests of their nation and become a true hero. After some time, the Vietnam War begins, and goes where Ron. Here, he is faced with a real horror: many army lost friends, witnesses of murders of civilians, gets seriously injured. In the hospital, he is faced with care attitude on the part of doctors, lack of medicines and medical equipment. After returning home in a wheelchair, Korvik realizes that he was wrong, that his ideals were only illusions. Then he decides to join the anti-war movement, to which he devotes a further life to the struggle against the war ...
