The main character Jane is an eternal bridesmaid, who has been in this role so often that she has already become an expert in wedding affairs — she has 27 weddings to her credit. Jane herself has never been married and is secretly in love with her boss George. During the next wedding ceremony, Jane meets Kevin, a journalist who writes articles about weddings. He is interested in an experienced witness, and he decides to write a note about Jane. At the same time, the sister of the main character Tess arrives, who immediately takes George away from under her own sister's nose. The eternal bridesmaid is about to lose her nerve.
