Casey Wells is a former drug dealer. Deciding to give up his criminal past and go on a well-deserved vacation, he moves to Houston and becomes an exemplary citizen in the eyes of others. However, fate prepares an unpleasant surprise for the hero: one day his former colleague Nick visits him and leaves a briefcase in which drugs turn out to be stored. Without hesitation, Casey flushes them down the toilet, but then an unknown thug shows up and threatens the man with a gun for the ruined goods.
