There are three protagonists. Holly Berenson, the owner of a candy store, and Eric Messer, the up-and-coming director of a sports chain. And the main character, around whom all the intricacies of the plot unfold, is their little goddaughter Sophie. Friends of Holly and Eric unsuccessfully tried to bring them together, but as they say, not destiny. Too different "peppers" came across. But as a result of a fatal accident, their little goddaughter is left alone, and guess who the guardians of the child? Of course, our "sweet couple."
