Eddie Brock is a journalist who gets along with his symbiote Venom. This often leads to problems in the kitchen and in the personal life of the hero, but sometimes it also brings its advantages. When Eddie interviews the maniac Cletus Kasady, who is on death row, Venom finds important information among the mysterious drawings. It talks about exactly where the killer hid the corpses of his victims. Kasady is furious because he did not plan to disclose this information. Soon the maniac manages to escape, but the worst thing is that he got a piece of the symbiote when the journalist was in his cell. Now Cletus is becoming a monster himself and intends to get even, especially since Eddie lost contact with Venom because of a serious quarrel...
