I Am Legend / Я легенда (2007)

A miracle cure for cancer has been found, which has caused half the population to die out and the other half turned into vampires. The main character, named Robert Neville, worked as a Lieutenant Colonel in the us army medical service. Having lost his family, he now lives with a devoted dog in the post-apocalyptic city of New York. Day after day, he searches for supplies of new food, hunts wild animals, and daily tries to find a new cure for the virus. At night, closing himself in the house and hiding from the vampires, Robert lives in the past in the hope of bringing everything back. But one day, everything doesn't go according to plan...
