Thomas leads a squad of surviving Gladers who will complete the last and most dangerous mission. He understands perfectly well that WICKED cannot be trusted. In turn, the organization claims that the time for lies has ended, because they have already received everything they wanted from the gladers. The kids even got their memory back, but nobody could even think that Thomas would remember much more than everyone expected. But for the guy the truth turned out to be much worse than a lie, because now he and his team will have to find a cure for the disease that has engulfed the whole world. To do this, they go to the legendary Last City - a deadly maze controlled by WICKED...
