Connor MacLeod remained the last immortal on Earth, after which he began to grow old. An ecological catastrophe is on the planet - depletion of the ozone ball. Connor manages to develop an electromagnetic shield that will protect the planet from solar radiation. But Connor, already a decrepit old man, is dismissed by the dealers of the shield corporation. MacLeod learns that all the immortals who lived on Earth were extraterrestrials who once raised an uprising on the distant planet Zeist, but the uprising was suppressed by the cruel general Katan, after which the Council sentenced the rebels to exile. Katana sent two immortals to Earth to eliminate MacLeod, but he managed to cope with them and revive his mentor Ramirez to take the fight from the Katana.
