2054 year. John Anderton is one of the employees of the crime prevention system, thanks to which the number of murders has been reduced to a minimum. The three psychics called "precogs" (precognition) who are in isolation see the coming crimes. The pictures of their visions are displayed on the screens, where the picture of the crime is visible, the name of the victim and the killer. Anderton, along with the team, prevents murder and catches criminals, who are placed in anabiosis capsules. One day, Anderton sees a terrible picture of how he will soon kill an unknown man. He refuses to give up and starts running. John decides to figure out what happened and goes to the creator of the project - Dr. Hineman. The woman tells Anderton that he needs to find one of the Pre-Cog and download data from his memory...
