In our civilization collapsed disaster - a terrible energy crisis paralyzed all around. Now people are fighting not for money but for the fuel. Max - driver loner who travels on the roads of Australia in search of fuel. After a while, he comes upon settlement with the fuel depot. This is a small fortified camp, emaciated and exhausted residents who's trying to protect their fuel. Once Max finds himself in the camp, it appears on the horizon biker gang led by their leader Gumungusom. They intend to attack the camp and capture the fuel depots. Max can not let innocent people die, and he enters a deadly fight with the bandits.
