Depeche Mode (Heaven)
In the small town of Basildon, a suburb of London, two children lived, whose name was Andrew Fletcher (Andrew Fletcher) and Vince Clarke (Vince Clarke). In 1976 they formed the band «No Romance In China». At the same time, Martin Gore (Martin Gore) was a guitarist in the group «Norman and the Worms»
In 1979, Gore and Clark began to play together as a duet «French Look», later they join Fletcher, and the band changed its name to «Composition of Sound». The boys were playing on a synthesizer, guitar and bass guitar. Clark was a vocalist, but he did not like it, and so the group was looking for a soloist. In 1980, they were asked about it by David Gahan (David Gahan), which is heard singing a song David Bowie «Heroes», and when he agreed, - they changed instruments to synthesizers and name to Depeche Mode. This name was taken from the French magazine, and is translated as "fickle fashion" (the magazine still exists).
