Robert Oppenheimer is a theoretical physicist and nuclear physicist whose name has forever entered not only the history of America, but also changed the socio-political situation around the world. The scientist led the Manhattan project, which was engaged in the creation of nuclear weapons, and already in 1945 the first atomic bomb was tested. Oppenheimer perfectly understood of how dangerous his discovery was, which is why he was tormented by constant internal contradictions. After the end of the war, he even became an adviser to the Atomic Energy Commission and always advocated strict control over nuclear weapons.
