Brian is a little-known writer who recently published a magazine article on the country's most famous murders. This topic fascinated him so much that he decided not to end there and was going to release a series of books about maniacs and murderers. But the whole problem lies in the fact that Brian does not know what exactly drives the criminals and makes them kill. Therefore, in order to study this topic, he sets off with his girlfriend as a photographer on a trip to California to visit all the famous places where the murders took place. But due to limited financial resources, they are forced to take a married couple as fellow travelers, after which real unpredictable adventures begin.
