Once Nick meets the attractive Suzanne Kingston. The girl has to raise two children from her previous marriage alone: son Kevin and daughter Lindsey. Suzanne immediately aroused Nick's sympathy. The guy is not happy with the children, but for the sake of being with the girl of his dreams he is ready to put up with it. Leaving on a business trip to Vancouver, Suzanne is going to leave the children with her ex-husband, but at the last moment it turns out that he is sick.
