Jake Tyler, a football player and a star of the school team, constantly gets involved in trouble, getting involved in various fights. He lives in a small town in Iowa. Soon the protagonist and his family will need to move to the state of Florida. There he becomes an outcast, falls in love with a classmate and still continues to get involved in fights.
