Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) works as a veterinarian in Hawaii. During the day, Henry pulls walruses, and in the evening pulls lonely tourists who are afraid to leave the island, "never having rested." Henry fucks them for a short vacation, and then throws them, telling some spectacular story - for example, that he is a "secret agent".
So Henry would have lived happily for himself, casually seducing chicks and hanging out with his Hawaiian friend Ula (Rob Schneider), when suddenly in one of the cafes that Henry dropped into by accident, he met a girl named Lucy (Drew Barrymore). And then Henry felt that he had fallen in love.
However, the next day, when he rushed to a date at a familiar cafe, Lucy did not even recognize him. Henry doesn't understand at all what the hell is going on, but the owners of the cafe explained everything: it turns out that Lucy got into a car accident about a year ago and she has amnesia. Lucy remembers exactly what happens during the day, but when she goes to bed, the past day is completely erased from her memory.
