Estella's friends — two young and clever pickpockets - supported their friend and together with her dreamed of a better life in huge London. And one day the girl gets a chance to show herself: Baroness Von Hellman, an arrogant socialite, draws attention to her. However, the relationship with the baroness gradually reveals and strengthens the unsightly sides of her character in Estella, and yesterday's girl, sincerely in love with fashion, turns into a crazed hunter for spotted dalmatian skins.
