The film is set in 19th century Germany, occupied by Napoleonic troops. Two brothers, Will and Jake Grimm, are petty crooks who travel around Germany and make their living by supposedly exorcising evil spirits. But one day they fall into the hands of General Delatombe, who forces them to exorcise evil from a village where young girls are disappearing under mysterious circumstances. It is here that the brothers encounter the real evil sorceress, the Mirror Queen, who has already managed, by means of magic, to gain immortality. Now all that is left is eternal youth and unfading beauty...
