The plot of the film tells about two elderly neighbors - John Gustafson and Max Goldman, who all their lives were sworn enemies. After John married a charming red-haired Ariel, the neighbors came to reconciliation and even began to go fishing together. However, Max was never able to find his lady's heart, until charming Maria Ragetti arrived in the city, along with her mother. Despite her age, this woman has the perfect figure, and all the men of the town begin to stare at her. After some time, Max and John find out that she is going to build an Italian restaurant on the site of a fishing store, and then they decide to do everything possible to prevent her...
